If it's out in the open, then waves will be too big. If you find a good calm spot, it might work. I've never grown though. Would you visit it by a small boat?

They would be floated in lifeguard life saving rings. I suppose if the medium is light and the plants not enormous, it might work. Also, the float wold be tethered to the pond's side along a cove with brush all along the bank. This would keep it fro floating away or tipping over. water in the medium could be maintained with a thin rope buried in the medium and hung over the buckets edge into the Rating: 5
