NESYeah, the 8-bit nintendo, right? Ugly grey box? Final Fantasy originated on that system.

NESthe org legend of zelda was on 8 bit. I remember playing sick from school to play it. I like i think was called ice hockey. You could be a fat guy or skinny guy or medium sized.

NESMan some of you guys are too young LOL. Zelda was one of the first games released on NES (it was the gold cartridge), and that's where it became a classic. I still remember that damn lost woods. Ice hockey was great, kung-fu, excite bike, baseball stars, Mike Tyson's Punch out, Contra, Final fantasy, Kid Icarus, mega man, Batman (I forgot about that, it was probably the first good superhero game), Tetris, duck hunt if you got a gun that works was pretty hot.

I grew up with the atari 2600 (how's that fer old), I remember commodores and apple 2e's, first computer was an IBM PC XT with the 5 1/4in floppies.

NES fucking belongs with marijuana, and vice a fuckin versa. 97 games and counting... god bless bookman's, by the way.

As a sidenote- seriously, you thought zelda was from the N64? Mario, Zelda, final fantasy (have that too), they all started back on the NES.. learn your history.

NESMy NES got broke cause everytime I got mad I'd throw the controllers at the thing LOL. So the only way I can play the old school classics is via an emulator and getting the ROMs. Defender and Kangaroo was the shit on Atari, I also had....the ET game... it was rated (and with good reason) as one of the worst games ever in EGM. Yeah Zelda 2 sucked. Oh yeah, I forgot Metroid, another NES classic.

Those black and green screens on the old school computers were HOT lol.
