A few Questions

Hey guys excited to be on the forum look forward to this joint...Just a few basic questions.
I have smoked a couple of times but Iâ??m always with friends who know what they are doing, so some things Iâ??m not so sure on.

1 â?? When rolling a joint how much bud do you put in?
2 â?? There always seems to be this battle of put/or donâ??t put tobacco in. What does adding tobacco do? I thought it just weakens the effect of the bud, as well as making the J burn slower?.. One of my mates says that doing â??greeniesâ?? is so strong, but most people donâ??t mix do they?
3 - I've watched countless vids on rolling. However, just to clear my mind up. Minimalistcaly all you need is bud, and some rolling paper? Filters are optional (what are they for?) and roaches just hold it together better?...

you put as much bud can fit in the paper or how much you feel like smoking, usually comes to about a gram per joint for a good one.

tobacco and joints are a euro thing and it takes away the taste of the good herbs. i used to smoke tobacco and wont even do that.

the filters(pieces of thick paper) are used to keep the end from closing up and kinda like roach clips/stones as it makes it easier to hold and hit

1. Depends on how big you want it, but .75-1 gram is generally good. It also varies with the size of your paper.

2. I would never put tobacco with my weed. Thats some UK bullshit, and I dont understand it. All herbal for me. :thumbsup:

3. Yup, just paper and bud is fine.

ok this is not an evryday smoker, he just tried it a couple of times remember.. so i would not reccomend putting a gram or .75 gram not even a half gram into your joint.. just use about .3 - .4 and add a little pinch of tobacco.. this will help the joint burn more evenly (better than burning down one side with pure joint).. you may even want to put it out half way and save the roach for later on.. or even the next day..

small joints is all you need, a gram man thats too big, even for me..

now if it turns out that you have poor quality weed just smoke untill you are at the level you want to be at and never go back to that person again, make an example out of him:thumbsup: good luck and have fun !

About the tobacco x weed. I picked it up while I was in germany and I enjoy it very much. I think it adds a good flavor and helps the bud burn more even and consistent. Also I've read that mixing the THC and nicotine "boosts" the high because of the contrasting affects of the drugs. A more extreme example would be mixing cocaine and heroin. I think most would agree that smoking a cigarette after you toke "boosts" your high, why not do them at the same time?!

Well... the old tobacco x weed discussion...
In my personal opinion, i think you should NEVER EVER add harmful substances to your weed. Tobacco contains Nicotine, that IS a harmful DRUG, it DOES cause dependency, and sincerely i cant see the point of it. Weed also burns without it, and pure weed tastes very good also, so dont buy all the things people says about it...
Unless you also smoke cigaretes. In this case, as you are already poisoning yourself, adding more of it into your joints wont make any difference.
But if you only smoke weed, then, please, for your healths sake, smoke only pure weed! :thumbsup::rastasmoke::jointsmile::stoned:

i sorta hate the fact that i enjoy bacco in my jays.

i know how harmful cigs are.
its nothing but shit in there.

but with bacco, it just burns so nice.
i rarley have to relight.

and it gives me a serious dizzy feeling.
which i dont get from smoking herb, or smoking cigs.

it only happens when i do both at once.

That's not some UK bullshit, they use tobacco in Europe because of the price. The price is somewhere like 45$ a gram.
So they put one sigarette in a gram and smoke 2 - 3 king size joints. I think it's good, like a half a gram in a joint.

I have more, but 3 studies are enough to make my point- even if you only just read the titles! (Which I'm sure many of you do- which is a shame since most of my studies are the abstracts- just "one pagers".)

Why not be REALLY smart and get a vaporizer? I have a little Vapor Brothers, and I love it! Why?

You can use anything from a pinch to whatever your bowl will hold. No tobacco necessary! Many folks say you need less to get high.

Your lungs will be WAY healthier. No morning cough! I've toked for 40+ years and my lungs were a mess! It took 2 weeks of nothing but vaping to get them clear.

There is virtually NO SMELL, which cuts the chances of getting busted way down. A friend who doesn't use cannabis (at the moment) dropped in as the hubby and I were having a vape. She will be getting her recommendation soon, and wanted to learn more about vaporizers,- and talk about a million and one other things, too, of course. When I told her that we had just been medicating, she was surprised. She hadn't noticed a thing.

Another neat thing is how it "waits" for you. If you get interrupted for any reason while you are vaping, you put the whip down and the pot just sits there. No THC lost "up in smoke"! You have to draw the hot air over the pot, or it just sits there waiting! Nice if you have to take a phone call or you notice that the kids are having a ketchup and mustard squirt bottle fight!

Then there is the reusablity of the pot. That left-over duff, dross, poo or whatever you call it, can be made into nice baked goods. Spring break started and I made space cake for the week. The hubby gets better pain control with edibles. I use the duff and ground leaves, and it works quite nicely! Just duff doesn't get you as high as using bud, but anytime you can get a free buzz...:thumbsup:!
