First Grow....

Alright i figure i should start a log on here so i can have a place to ask questions about the same plants...

-Not sure exactly how old lol... i planted the sprouted seeds in the soil like march 1st i think.
-Have 4 plants under 8 23w cfls for 18/6.
This is my first grow, so let me know if they look alright so far...
and also, is it easy to tell what strain of marijuana a plant is once it gets a little bigger? cause i got these seeds from a friend in belgium...

In a few weeks you'll be able to tell if it's more sativa or indica, but that's about it. Determining strain, during any part of the plant's life, is pretty much impossible.

How is she looking, there are 3 more but they look pretty much the same.. Do you think i can start giving nutrients yet? i will transplant them into bigger pots once the soil is dry because the roots are coming out the bottom... I believe they are somewhere around 12-13 days old.. not sure exactly... i changed the soil up a bit to for the transplant, i mixed Potting soil with MG organic soil and added also perlite... Any suggestions let me know..

Also, do i have enough lights for my grow area? I have eight 23watt 6500k/1300lumens cfls..

Looks like a indica plant to me. I think you got enough light for veg on those cfl:s Whats that white stuff on one of the pots?

i threw some perlite on one lol... but can i start giving nutrients?

Yeah, I start nutes after about 2 weeks. I'd start with half strength during the 3rd week after breaking ground. Slowly build up to full strength over the next week/week and a half just to be safe.

Also, you def have plenty of lights. You're running 184 watts and I get more than decent results just from 156.

Oh ya? how many plants do you under the lights?

Two. They're trained onto individual scrog screens that measure about 10 inches by 16 inches each. It's a rubbermaid design that can easily pull about 3.5 ounces from 2 scrog'd plants.
