cpu case grow need advice

i've never grown b4 but always wanted to, cruising the web i found a thread here where the person was growing in a computer case i happen to have one...what i want to know is what type of light would b ideal for this grow? and would hydro or soil b the best?i have the convenience of a bong/hydro shop around the corner so all i really need to know is what to ask for;i also plan to use the lst method so any tips on that would b greatly apreaciated

Yo pretty much have to use lst in a computer case. CFLS are perfect for those grows (they put out good light, and are not very hot). Im not sure what the preferd method is but since this is your first tiem growing Id go soil.

Either way, search around the cabinet growing section on indoor growing. There are alot of microgrows out there!

CFLS are real grow lights.

An hps/mh would just be a waste imo.

IMO if you want a small grow with that computer case cabinet, it can work AWESOME with some Lowryder2 seeds. You can have an excellent little grow going on in one of those, and I believe the Lowryder2 seeds can fit ideally in there :thumbsup:

And the Lowryder2 are easy to grow and the light that comes with the computer case is enough to harvest a very nice Lowryder plant. You don't even need to mess with hydroponics since they grow very easily in some soil. Definitely something to look into!

Firstly for a computer you will need cfls, hps/mh will be far to hot for that case and for the amount you can grow it would be a waste of power. Pick up some "daylight" bulbs with between 5200-6400k which will be perfect for veg. Try and get bulbs around 30-42w which will save power and the max amount of lumens which will help in veg and flower. Depents of the size of the case really, i would probably 3-4 bulbs per plant.

Also try and get as many pc case fans as you can and fix them to the rear of the case, that should keep the them happy :thumbsup:

you dont need to goto a grow shop to get good cfls. Any hardware or megamart or whateva you have in the states should sell what your after at a fraction of the cost. Alternatively you can try online at somewhere like ebay.

ebay is pretty bad for cfls actually. theyre maybe 1/2 the price, but most are no name brands without warranties. (for my, 1/4 cfls stops working within 2 weeks for no reason)

I'm running 3 23 W CFLs off a powerstrip in a cab for one revegging plant. I have one fan running intake on the bottom and one running exhaust at the top. Not sure if it's too low humidity of late, let ya know.
