    you mean like mylar?

Stick with the flat white paint. Mylar is a pain to hang up. It gets dirty and doesn't clean up real easily.

I used mylar because I already had it but when I redesign my cabinet after this grow I'll be painting the inside flat white.

Not any hot spots really compared to mylar

Yeah, it's a solar blanket. Same thing as Mylar. Mylar is 95% reflective and flat white is about 90% reflective.

If your survival wrap hadn't come folded up it would probably be about 95% reflective

Radiant energy also means heat yoz.
Stick with Flat white. Mylar also becomes less reflective very quickly, as opposed to flat white which would last through many, many grows.

That being said, I use mylar just because I didnt want to paint anything

And flat white paint REFLECTS cooler too.....sounds weird but I found a difference from 93Fwith the light bouncing off the mylar into my grow space vs 80F bouncing off flat white paint.

Result....cooler grow room.......hey, carinia already said that....

    WHITE > MYLAR

White will produce even light for reflecting, where mylar can reflect in some areas more than others, white is certainly best!
