"if Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position."

"And if he was a woman he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept," Ferraro said.

So what's to argue about? He had a history of NOT taking a position when he was in the Illinois state legislature with "Present" votes not to mention his "Not Voting, Excused, Absent, or Present" voting record in the U.S. Senate. That combined with NO military history makes what, a good candidate?

His MAJOR backing is from the black community where he has been getting 80%-90% of the vote. Do ya REALLY think that he'd be in this position if like Ferraro stated, he was a white male or a female?

It's not a question whether he's black enough....it's whether or not he'd be a contender if he weren't. Take away 50% of his minority vote and you'd find him in the same boat as Edwards...if even.

Have a good one!:s4:
Psycho4Bud Reviewed by Psycho4Bud on . So Barack Obama isn't black enough Or so they say. I just heard him on television saying that "If I were a white man, or a woman of any color, I would not be in this situation" so to be completly fair, maybe we should be thinking maybe Hilary isnt Feminine enough, because my dispositions aside, she isnt very feminine at all, about the same level of "Black-ness" (despite the fact that there is no possible way to measure how black someone is and to suggest one can is absolutly ridiculous) Any thoughts?
