Need opinion please

I just found out today that I have to take a Psychemedics hair test tomorrow afternoon.

I last smoked 81 days ago...I know that supposedly the hair test can detect up to 90 days, but is there a shot I can pass?

If you smoke 3 times or more in 90 days and 1 & 1/2 inches of hair then you are in danger of failing. Was it just the 1 time in those 90 days? Hair length and color? Psychemedics is evil.

It was (unfortunately) about three times, all in that 82 - 90 day range.

My hair is dark blonde, very short (got a haircut as soon as I found out about it).

I'm about to go buy some Nexxus Aloe Rid....there's a chance I could put off this test till Thursday (thus making it 83 days). Any chance, you think?

So how long is it??? It's the Aloe Rid Treatment, not the shampoo.

Less than an inch and a half, I'd estimate about a half inch in the back, maybe an inch in the very front.

It's not the shampoo?

Okay I got it moved to Thursday to give myself an extra day (which might not help, but I figure it couldn't hurt).

Any opinions on this would be greatly appreciated, I am very nervous and anxious.

Head hair grows about 1/2 inch per month. You need to also take into account 2 different lag times, the 2-3 days it takes after you stop smoking for the levels to drop low enough in your body that there isn't enough metabolites being deposited in your hair and the 7-10 days after this that it takes for the hair to grow out far enough from underneath the skin to be able to be cut. So about the last 70 days of hair growth are clean. You should be fine except for the fact that 1/2 inch is on the borderline of what a collector likes. If it is that short they may go for alternative places on your body (chest, armpit, arms, legs, pubic). So based on how long these hairs are and the clean time plus lag time(growth rate for body hair is slightly different than head hair but not by much) you may need to cut or trim these too. Normally I recommend treating the head or prepping it (in your case your prep was the haircut) and then getting rid of the rest of your body hair to force collection from the head but you are at 1/2 inch. They don't like to use the front as it can be noticable, they like the crown and back. In the future try not to cut it shorter than 3/4 of an inch. I'm tired and this post isn't worded that great but I think you will get it.
