Continuous cherry while hitting pipe

Today I was hitting a pipe and as I was holding in each hit, the cherry stayed a bit lit and with each hit, it continued to stay lit. It was pretty cool; I got like ten thick hits from it in a row. :jointsmile:


I don't know why I thought this deserved its own thread, but I made one anyway :thumbsup:

If you like that method, pack your bowl with your finger rather than let it sit loosely.

I prefer to snuff my cherry after each hit so I don't really pack too tight (the heat vaporizes away THC even when closed) so the quicker you can snuff it out, the better.

But yeah big giant continuous bowls out of your favourite piece is worth it's own thread.

Ah! I love it when it's continuous! It's nice not having to light the pipe every time you want to take a hit :thumbsup:

I try and pack the bowl so it always does this, so here is how I do it:

First, I find a small nug and put it in the bottom of the bowl. The nug doesn't have to be that big, just big enough to cover the hole on the bottom.

After the hole is covered with a nug, I break up some of my bud into little bits (or just use shake) and put it on top of the nug. I keep adding bits/shake until the bowl is full.

When the bowl is full you're ready to toke! Keep in mind though the first couple hits won't cherry, as there is little bits/shake on the top. What I usually do is take a hit, then pack the burnt weed down gently with the end of my lighter. I keep doing this until the nug at the bottom is burning.

Once the nug is burning it should cherry for awhile. You might want to take your tokes a bit faster than you normally do, because sometimes it can go out a bit quicker than you expect (also, keep in mind it is continuously burning weed, so make sure you don't let that sweet herb burn too long )
