not to bad at the moment, no worse than when alive, but i bet they'll stink in a few days time

That yellowing in the pic is from heat/light burn, not N deficiency.
If you are at all trichs at least cloudy, with some (10%) amber, you are ready to go. IF you wait longer, the high will become more heavy and body-oriented. It's a matter of your personal taste at this point.

i'd say all cloudy with 20% amber, well really dark amber

BTW is it common for the buds to hang down so far? ( see pre chop pics above) bending the branches

Yeah, strains with really flexible branches can be staked, tied, or even woven into a fishing net for support. I run a couple like that that drive me nuts, lol.
