Dr. Greens vs. Quick fix + saliva ??s HELP!

    Peace to all

Got a test comming up 1st in 2 years just for a country club job...2 years ago it was only urine & I used dehydrated urine with no real probs....I bought Dr. Green's but I was wondering if Quick Fix is any better? I am also a little concerned that saliva might be tested (hey its been 2 years maybe times have changed) Any suggestions? & where the hell do I put this bottle (they check pockets)

My only other concern is maintaing the temp The last time, 2 years ago they barely let me go cause the temp dropped to 89 deg... but the tester guy was cool.....& if they take hair or blood I will be screwed but I don't think that will happen its not like im on probation. What do you guys think....I dont think ill be tested for a couple of weeks.

Take care and any advice will be geratly appreciated

Dr. Greens vs. Quick fix + saliva ??s HELP!

The hair test would be the only complicated thing you'd have to worry about and it is far beyond my knowledge (no experience with hairtests whatsoever).

I have some good news for you though and will walk you through all your options.

First, if it is a blood test (which I think is unlikely) then abstain from smoking for 3 days. For most people THC is undetectable in the blood after 24 hours, but I would say wait 3 days just to be safe.

Second, if it is a saliva test I would abstain for 3 days as well and make sure to brush your teeth thoroughly. I have heard stories of people getting high the day of their test and passing a saliva test, but again just to be safe wait a few days and practice normal hygene.

Third, in the event of a UA decide now if you are going to keep smoking or quit now and try to pass using the dillution method.

If you decide to use your own urine then quit smoking immediately, provide me with your height weight and excersize habits and smoking history and we can go from there.

If you want to keep smoking, make sure to quit at least 3 days before your test in the event of a blood or swab test, but your goal here is using synthetic urine.

I myself have never had to substitute but people on the boards here have had nothing but success with Quick Fix 4.0

Read up on the substitution thread here:
    http://boards.cannabis.com/drug-test...uidelines.html

Your test will not be monitored if it is for a job and my quick advice for substitution is this:

Before your test heat your Quickfix in the microwave for 10 seconds. Now I have heard of some people's microwaves getting the sample WAY over the normal heat so check the temperature and see what it reads. Your goal here is to get it in the high 90's because it will only go down from there. Ultimately you want your sample to be between 90-100 degrees. Quick Fix comes with a heating pad that you can use, buy yourself a pair of tighty whiteys and tuck your sample in your crotch with the heating pad and it should stay at the correct temperature until test time. Emptying your pockets will be a non-issue and you should be good to go.

EDIT: A quick note on temperature: You can heat and reheat quickfix numerous times and it will not affect the sample. If you choose to go this route just make sure to practice and get your technique down so you hit the right temperature. Remember, practice makes perfect

Also it is important to note: DO NOT squeeze Quickfix out of the bottle because the sucking noise the bottle makes when doing this is a dead give-away. Unscrew the cap and poor it into the test cup.

If you have any questions or concerns or if I have not accurately answered your questions feel free to post back and I'm sure I or another member will be able to help you.

Dr. Greens vs. Quick fix + saliva ??s HELP!

Thank you for the advice.....I am 200 lbs haven't smoked for 16 days won't test for at least 5 more days....but I have smoked for 15 yrs. & I tested my self yesterday & I am positive....so I think the synthetic is my only choice.
I have been there & passed a test two years ago & it was urine test (its a small medical building). With synthetic....but they barely took it cause of temp.

    2 Questions

    1. When you say practice should I only practice heating to 90+ or should I practice with a sample & the entire process....another kit is not too much...I just don't trust the heating pad cause the place is 40 min away.

    2. What do you think the likely hood of a place like that changing its proceedure of testing

    1) What I meant by practice was estimate how long it is going to take you between when you heat your sample and test time. When using quick fix the temperature is the only major thing you have to worry about. Just heat your sample up a few times and practice different methods of keeping it warm and see how long you can keep the temperature in range for. It would just be good to know this before the test.

    2) I doubt they will change their procedure. Even if they do, what is your major concern?

And I would have to agree with you, in your situation if you can use synthetic urine I would go for it. You would run the risk of still testing positive otherwise.

Dr. Greens vs. Quick fix + saliva ??s HELP!

Major concern would be hair or salive but I feel much better about that....but I assume hair is much more expensive to test so I doubt they would bother.

Can I heat the synthetic? let is cool & re heat later to test how long or does heating that high & cooling mess with the composition. & how can I test the heat pad accuracy for 3-4 hrs + if I only have one heat pad that came with the kit?

The Quick Fix can be heated and reheated many times without harm. Even though it comes with one heat pack, you can purchase some handwarmers cheap at any camping/sporting goods store.

QF also has the temp guage on the side. Don't know if the other stuff does. Makes it easier to monitor temp. If you get in a situation where your temp is a little low at the UA. Pour the QF in the cop then rub your thumb briskly against your clothing and hold your thumb to the temp strip for a couple seconds.

Dr. Greens vs. Quick fix + saliva ??s HELP!

I think I may get some Quick Fix although I have been assured that Dr. Greens is the same (by the head shop guy)...

What if the temp turns out to be too high is there a way to cool...I am probably just freeking out but the job will pay me $20,000 for 2 and 1/2 half months of work so I want to be extra safe although the $ 8.00 per hr employeed are tested at the same place the same way...but can't ask them the type because of my good reputation.

I do live 45 min away from the testing center so it would be at least that long + before I would even have a chance of getting in..kinda the reason I want to test the heating pad + the microwave to feel confident that I know what the temp will be. The job is important for the $ but even more so for my professional reputation.

Thank you for all your advice You guys have really helped a lot!

Do you think that mouth wash they sell to pass saliva is worth it?
& has anyone ever had a hair test & what for, cause if they do that they may ask how I am still able to even walk ? ya in LA I have had lots of fun! in past years....I also shave my head to a 1/4 in. so if they did that the hair would come from other places?

    Just covering all bases
    Peace
