its in the genetics if it has alternating nodes

alternating nodes are supposed to make better mother plants or make it to where you can take more cuttings off her

    alternating nodes

I'm pretty sure it's genetics. Most of the time I don't let the males grow enough to stay anything but perfectly symmetrical, but I'm almost 100% positive that I've seen alternating branching on a male before. I've also had several females that stayed perfectly symmetrical all the way from seed to harvest.

as far as I know, the only thing to know about alternating nodes, is that it is a sign of maturity, indicating it is time to switch to your flowering schedule ... (12/12) ... I have never known it to indicate gender, etc ...
