Harvest and Lighting question....
i have been running a 400 watt MH light for about a month and a half during the flowering stage thinking i had an HPS. i also have a T-5 lighting system that ive been told is better suited for flowering. my plants r close to the end of flowering. approx 2 weeks. should i just keep them under the MH or should i switch to the T-5 and will it stress the plants out if i switch?
also this is my first susessful grow and i wanted to know what is the best method of drying/ curing the buds? any tips or a walkthrough would be great thanks!

Harvest and Lighting question....
Can you fit BOTH in there?
I don't know what to tell ya.
On one hand, MH400 has greater light penetration than any flouro.
On the other hand, with correct bulbs (red spectrum), your T5 fixture is a better LIGHT for flowering, but won't penetrate deep into those somewhat tall plants.
Choosing one or the other, I'd go T5 and get it down RIGHT ON TOP of the plants, about 2-3" from the canopy, which you should actually try to tie over just a bit flatter if you are going to use flouros so that all parts are equally close.
Also, have you checked the pH of your soil runoff recently? That set of symptoms says to me "pH out of range plus overwatering plus possible cold soil". Are your pots sitting on a cold cellar floor, or do you have low night temps?

Harvest and Lighting question....
the plants are sittign on the floor in my closet. they r on top of a carpet and towel. it gets cool here during the nites but not bad. the ph is aroun a high 7 and has been there since i began the grow (bad soil) and i have only been watering it about once a week or every 7 days. so you are saying to switch to the T-5? and i cannot really bend or tie the plants anymore because the stems r too stiff now because it is flowering. there is no way i can fit both lights in my closet at the moment so its one or the other...
