Most likely, it's just the strain you're growing. It is not abnormal for some strains to have little or no scent. When the buds have been harvested, dried, and cured, you will probably start to discern some smell (but maybe not as pungent as you'd like).
Another think you could look into is a carbohydrate supplement for your plants. There are tons of 'professional' products out there that provide extra carbohydrates for your plant, which can help with aromatic oil production (scents). Search up on molasses; it's a cheap and easy-to-find substitute for those 'professional' products.

What strains are they? If buds are forming normally then it's just one of those strains I suspect.

hold on, molassas causes em to stink?
i thought it helps to give trichromes?
cuz my goal is zero smell, because 3-4 plants creates more smell than i can handle, as well as preventing full usage of 600w hps....

Ever smelled pure hash on your fingers after you've roughly handled a juicy bud, or manicured an ass load of fresh buds? It would be blasphemy to say that it 'stinks', but it damn sure doesn't smell like roses!

i guess a better way to phrase my question is:
I have 600w of hps light, but can only grow 2-3 plants under it because there sativa smell is so powerful (despite an inexpensive carbon filter). should i use less molassas to bring in another plant or 2?
