I asked him about this specifically......whether to increase ppms in solution later in flowering and he said that he keeps his at about that number all the way through.

There is some sort of "dosing" thing or machine you can buy for fertilizing your soil plants. They mentioned to me that this "doser" only goes up to 800ppm.

I was also told that using higher ppm numbers (1500 every third watering etc....) is perfectly acceptable......dosing a high number once and then diluting it down with regular waterings for a few waterings would work fine.....he just felt that the other way seemed to work better to him and was less hard on the plant. I really don't think he felt yield would be affected with less ppms done in more waterings......but DID seem to think it was less stressful for the plants generally which I like.

One last tidbit.....they said that perhaps reg water every fourth watering or so should help keep overfert at bay.......but to watch carefully for overnuting at any rate. (And of course ph everything that goes into the pot. )
Weedhound Reviewed by Weedhound on . TEST LAUNCH-Operation Redwood Tree Welcome to my new log. In this log I'm going to follow 2 grows, one very simple and a new grow doing something I haven't tried before. This time I'm going to try and go for the biggest plants I can get....and a record yield as well. :stoned: I'll be using buckets like the one below to flower the plants with. I have two of them and each one will hold about 6-7 gallons of water (when half full which is how they will be used) in a DWC/drip ring setup that hopefully will have enough room Rating: 5
