TEST LAUNCH-Operation Redwood Tree
Hey lucky me, I have a church seed. Just kinda showed up in my mail. So, could you go into more detail on scuffing? I fear my seed my have came from Kind Seed as well, so any advice you have for getting it going would be great. Do you just take a plastic kitchen scratcher to it? Or sandpaper? Cracking the shell? Do you do this by soaking it overnight?

I've never tried anything fancy like scuffing, cracking or soaking. I've had the absolute best luck by simply planting the seed in dirt, and keeping it warm and moist. I've had less luck using the paper towel method, but it does seem to work pretty well and many people like it.
I'm going to plant some seeds in a few days, once I get some cuttings started again. I'll let you know how the church works out.
