My method is as ghetto as it possibly can get, but it makes some pretty good bubble-hash, and only takes a few hours of preparation time.

First: Take as many frosted trimmings as you can get your hands on, and let them dry for a few days. Don't let them get too crispy, but you don't want them fresh off the plants. (Doesn't seem to work as well on fresh trimmings.)

Then: Get yourself a five gallon bucket, and fill about 3/4 of the way full with chilled water. Add your trimmings to the top, then throw in enough ice cubes to leave you with about 1" of free play at the top. (Works great if you have a lid for the bucket.)

After that: Take an electric whisk - inserting the whisk utensil through a hole in the lid, if you have one - and blend the ice/trimmings for at least a good 20 minutes. I usually go 30 minutes or longer, depending on how heavy the trichomes were.

Lastly: Let the mixture sit for about an hour, adding more ice if the old ice melted. I like to give it another good whisking (sp?) after an hour, just to make sure I've knocked all the glands off the leafy matter. Let it settle again. After that, get a fairly fine mesh sieve, and take out as much of the plant matter as you possibly can. (If you let it sit long enough, most of the plant matter should have floated to the top.) After all the leafy stuff is out, then take the bucket and drain it into another bucket through an industrial sized coffee filter. Repeat that process several times until you find that nothing is accumulating in the filter anymore.

Then press all the excess water out of the filters, and you're left with a nice crumbly golden mess that easily falls from the filter! Bear in mind, this isn't the most pure method, as you'll still have some leafy matter stuck in the hash, but it's not noticeable enough to cause any concern. And the end product is REALLY nice and bubbles up just like "pollen" you'll get from Bubble Bags.

A little ghetto, like I said, but it works in a pinch! Take care.
