    TEST LAUNCH-Operation Redwood Tree

Well Mr Hound and I are seeing some differences since pumping up the nute schedule (carefully!!)

Pic one: Brainstorm, Master Kush taken 7/13/08 ppms 1300 (day 6 bloom)

Two: Same plants, taken 7/20/08 pppms 1480

Three: Same again taken today...7/23/08 ppms 1600 (day 18 bloom)

(and may I add that that is where they have topped out......FOR NOW....bwahhahahahahha .....but I expect to be able to raise the number again when they are further along depending on how they do)

Pic Four: Cotton candy taken on 7/13/08 ppms 1300 (day 28 bloom)

Pic 5: CC taken today, 7/23/08. ppms 1590 (day 38 bloom)

All Pics posted are from a source who lives in Hungary were the LAWS are less Stringent when it comes to Gardening... \"I CAN NOT GROW A CHIA PET\"

Actually Gl the ASH is also in hydro......but is so sativa dominant that 850 is about the top of the line for her....she's at day 48 (I think.....)bloom in this pic.

    For the ASH we're feeding:
    RO water:

    Rhizotonic 5ml/gallon
    Cannazym 5ml/gallon
    CalMag 250 pppm
    Hydroplex 200 ppm
    Pro Bloom 200 ppm
    Liquid Karma: 2ml/gallon
    Sweet: 5 ml gallon

which comes up somewhere between 800-850 ppms. We like to do a fair amount of res change outs so it seems we always have extra of this gal's old nutes around...... then we will just adjust ph to 6.5-6.7 range to water the soil girls with.

I would approach this very cautiously. When the hydro nutes are 'used' (=requiring a res change or drain), the stuff the plants have been needing most is gone out of them, or greatly diminished, and the relative concentration of undesirable components is higher. Furthermore, the pH is not going to be correct for your soil plants.
I'd dump them on the compost heap to add to the overall richness of the gunk you can let rot and use on the veggie patch next year.

That may be a good point. I do change outs every two or three days so im pretty sure there's enough left of the "good stuff" to do the job for my soil plants BUT....if I let my plants sit in the same solution for a week or so I probably would NOT use as a fert for soil stuff for the very reason Stinky named......ratios WILL be off.

I also feel confident about pouring used nutes in my soil because I use several "root products" that keep bad germs and juju at bay.

Re-cyclables go in the compost. From there you can use it for veggies, flowers or a soil grow.

Not gonna do a thing for ya if the juju is in the form of chemical salts. Matter can be neither created nor destroyed, only transformed... chemicals you've got in there will stay in there unless you flush them out... bacteria can change the form of chemicals in some cases, but not remove the elemental substances from teh soil. That's the problem. Unused micronutes-metals especially- are the fast track to soured soil and really fucking WEIRD looking toxicity symptoms. Just don't do it.
Your hydro guy seems to be hydro-oriented... take it from a drrty girl; use fresh nute solution on your soil ladies.
