TEST LAUNCH-Operation Redwood Tree
Good stuff Sis.
A lil more feedback on our feeding questions .
I like Opie's idea best though , controlled experiments .
Been taste testing the new goodies a lil.
White Widow and White Rhino are quite similar .
I think the W/W is a heavier stone like you said though .
I like the sweeter flavor of the W/R .
Dutch Dragon is delicious too - heavy stone but not real couchlok , and good body buzz . I'm gettin 10 more .
Whiteberry - Turpentine stench . You wern't lying . Good buzz but not what I'm after .
Power Plant - clearheaded high , almost no body buzz at all , not real impressed esp. after all the positive I've read on the strain
Menage a Trois - havent sampled much yet .
The bagseed Indica seeds my friend brought back from New Orleans of all places is mind boggling . A skunk humpin a pine tree , just reeks . Couldn't carry a thought in a bucket , and killer body buzz . Fuckin figures - no idea at all wtf the stuff really is .
We're gonna make more seeds this next grow to preserve it and keep a mom for cuttings . I see huge hydro trees of this stuff in the future maybe ?
None of the stuffs cured yet , Some strains I only had 1 plant of - good pheno / bad pheno ?? , My tolerence is fucking huge so my findings / smoke report / high morning ramblings might not mean a whole lot ?
Lotsa lotsa goodies comin your way soon too .
Holler later Sis.

ah....I love a morning wake and bake bio-assay crispi....I can't WAIT to taste my variety o flavors.....did either of you find the SNLxNH to be finicky? It seems to be the one strain that didn't get over that yellowing issue all the way...getting quite annoyed, lol. sorry for the jack WH, but this is un-nerving...the kush trio looks great though:thumbsup:

I was also told that using higher ppm numbers (1500 every third watering etc....) is perfectly acceptable......dosing a high number once and then diluting it down with regular waterings for a few waterings would work fine.....he just felt that the other way seemed to work better to him and was less hard on the plant. I really don't think he felt yield would be affected with less ppms done in more waterings......but DID seem to think it was less stressful for the plants generally which I like.
One last tidbit.....they said that perhaps reg water every fourth watering or so should help keep overfert at bay.......but to watch carefully for overnuting at any rate. (And of course ph everything that goes into the pot.)

Crispi......you like the Knockout ones!! Theyre just too slack-jawing for me. :stoned:
That whiteberry DOES smell like turpentine STRONG!!
A skunk humping a pine tree.......a visual treat as WELL AS a scent fest!!

GL I'm using the Botanicare nutes.......and taking the ferts from my old hydro solution and changing the ph.....if you want the recipe I can detail it here but I'm basically using the 800ppm nutes from the Strawberry Haze plant and watering them with that at corrected ph.

Are there any drawbacks from recycling your hydro nutes to the soil plants? I hope I understand what is going on here...

No I asked that specifically as well MVP.....but do keep in mind that we use two products for root health.....Rhizotonic and Cannazym. That's why I feel pretty comfortable that we're not going to be putting anything bad (read: GERMS!!
)
into the soil when we use the hydro nutes and my hydro guy agreed.

And just as an add on I also asked whether it was better to use RO water and CalMAg when nuting soil plants or regular water and grow and/or bloom nutes.
The consensus was that RO water and CalMAg was probably a bit better......more controlled anyway......but reg tap water is fine for watering "just water" and for flushing etc......ph correct of course.
