Nice AK-47s and PPPs.
So, Fang is almost 7 weeks and may go another 3 weeks? How tall is she and has she stopped vertical growth?

TEST LAUNCH-Operation Redwood Tree
Thanks very much everyone .....she does seem pretty happy doesn't she? I have a brand new one I just started in hydro as well. Maybe I'll carry the newbie into the flower room so she can see what she supposed to look like later.
Right now she's just two sets of leaves.
Shov I honestly don't think she has really stopped vertically growing completely.....we've been having to move the light up a few inches every couple days and she still reaches her leaves up right onto the glass like she'd grab the light out with her bare leaves if she could. We DO see changes in her everyday and she's got plenty of space and root room so I'm sure she's not rootbound.....just big and taking her time (we HOPE!!)

BUT realize why they don't work for us in hydro.....you have to get the light closer which is fine in soil but in our setups we are constantly having to remove the plant from the bucket and the lower lighting gets in the way. Took me awhile but I finally realized that the HID lights can be farther away from the plants making things easier to deal with in the w/f buckets but the flouros have DEFINITELY found a place in our hearts and grow area.
PS...they also work great to provide low heat to new seedlings and/or clones as you can see.
We got rid of our SNL x NH....it simply was not growing well and when we removed it from the higromite we could see why.....I really MANGLED the roots with my early flushing of that plant (and two others) with and INCORRECT ph (close to 7) so reminder to everyone to ph ph ph.....especially in hydro.

TEST LAUNCH-Operation Redwood Tree
Those are four seeds we started yesterday.....3 SNL x NH and one Church (a hail mary pass with that one) so we'll see how they pop.
Due to Stealth's experience with the FFoF soil and the seedlings I spoke to my hydro guy who recommended something that FF makes specifically for seedlings and so that is what we will be starting them in after the rapid rooters. They told me the name but I have already forgotten so when I have the stuff in hand I'll let everyone know. (some sort of planting mix by FF....anyone?)

TEST LAUNCH-Operation Redwood Tree
This is one of the two WW clones we took awhile back that was going to be our clone mom before we went semi-south on clones.
This soil plant has also been an experiment in soil for us as well so having nothing else to really judge her by I'll say she's doing pretty good. We've been adding nutes every other watering but are not really sure if we need more or less or ? so we're just making things up as we go.
INTERESTINGLY this is the first time we've grown a clone out to flower rather than plants started from seed and we've both noticed the same thing in this particular set of clones vs seedlings.....the yield seems to be fairly reduced considering veg time given both these clones (the other one is in hydro) is equal to what was given my other seedlings yet the amount the plant grew and the yield is definitely reduced from a seedling grown, vegged and flowered in the same conditions.

TEST LAUNCH-Operation Redwood Tree
This is the second WW clone placed in hydro and turned to 12/12 one week earlier than her sister (and Fang.) As you can see the hydro sis makes the soil plant look...rather.....well...SLENDER in comparison.....but even so this plant did not "flower out" with the same yield etc as a seedling would have from the same age which we found to be information to keep in mind for future growing.
