Removing plant from hydro
Considering how close those plants are to each other, there is no way you will be able to remove the roots from just one plant. My advice would be to crop the male plants down to only 2-3 nodes at the bottom, with at least three, large fan leaves. Cut of all branches at the nodes, leaving the leaves. It should look something like the on in the attached picture.
This allows the plant to stay alive and out of the way. Make sure you check the nodes after a while to make sure that no pollen sacs are forming.
