China thwarts attack on Olympics

Chinese authorities said that the terrorists killed and captured by security forces in Xinjiang in January had been preparing to attach an Olympics venue. Other officials reported that airline employees and security forces had blocked an attempt two days ago to destroy a plane bound for Beijing.

In the January 27 Urumqi raid, two were killed and fifteen captured. They had resisted the security forces and five officers were injured by homemade grenades. Chinese state media said the group was affiliated with the East Turkestan Islamic Movement. Wang Lequan, Xinjiang police chief, speaking on the sidelines of the ongoing National People's Congress, said, "Obviously, the gang had planned an attack targeting the Olympics."

Nur Bekri, head of the Xinjiang government, spoke about the March 7 plane incident. The crew, he said, prevented the attack. Suspects were being held, but Nur Bekri said he could not identify them or discuss their background. He insisted, however, "[W]e can be sure that this was a case intending to create an air crash."

I am sure the twist will be how BushCo is trying scare the world into thinking terrorism is real and is just making more money for him and his cronies. Prisonplanet.com and infowars.com will have their own vile on this, but guaranteed it is due to USA involvement.

After plotting and carrying out the 9/11 attacks George Bush and his cohorts started an anthrax scare, went to war for oil, raised terror alerts to win a second term then he caused hurricane Katrina (because he doesn't like black people) then he singlehandedly caused a recession and now with a presidential election looming he sanctions the Chinese gov't to "foil" a terror plot that he himself came up with to trick the world into thinking terrorism is real all because he is a Nazi.........

This is why we must continue to pour hundreds of billions of dollars into Iraq, because we're winning!! If we weren't in Iraq this terrorist attack would've occurred! We must continue to fight the good fight or something! PAUSE,NOT!!!!

Had to throw that in there, just because I know for a fact if we're involved in a war we will never ever be attacked by terrorists and are completely safe. Oh wait, we're not..It's because airport security is much more improved...After all, individuals with no organized army navy or air force aren't much of a threat if they can't hijack airplanes..well, unless our military occupies their country..

That was my daily dose of sarcasm. I did get it from the basis that every time an attack is foiled it somehow directly implies that the war in iraq is successful by other means than killing young men and women of our country. However, bush has caused so many problems for this country...and leaving it for my generation..
