You are most certainly early for flushing. Flushing is usually done for 3-7 (or sometimes up to 10) days, at the very end.

You shouldn't be watching your pistils as an indication of readiness for harvest. You will want to find your harvest window based on the condition of the trichomes on the plant. Trichomes will start clear, then progress to cloudy, ending in amber. I have this picture, so I'll stop explaining what it already does (and better than I).
