    clones arent rooting

i have taken clones from my plant at the end of its grow so the cuttings would have been in flowering mode.

one of my first batch of cuttings taken has finally grown roots and i transplanted it to soil. the other two died.

i now have a 2nd batch taken on on unrecorded date (constituting of 2 cuttings) and a 3rd batch taken on 2-26-08 (consisting of 8 cuttings).

so as of today the 2nd batch have been sitting for longer that the 3rd batch and the rd batch have been sitting for a week and a half.

none are showing any signs of roots. please help. how long should this normaly take from a flowing stage?

they are all sitting in rock wool cubs and are in plastic bags that are kept open to help keep humidity up. also under one cfl light with a 18/6 light cycle.

    clones arent rooting

How far away is the CFL from the clones?
    It should not be near...

    pH'd water?

Any specific reason for taking the clones from plants deep into the flowering stage?

i took them so late because the first set i took early on never rooted. and by the time i realised this it was well into flowering.

i will move the light up a bit. what should the ph be at?

You're not going to have much success taking clones from a plant near the end of slowering. Before using mothers I took cuttings from flowering plants when they were 2 weeks into flower. As an experiment I also took some at 3 weeks, 4 weeks and 5 weeks. The ones taken at 3 weeks were OK. The ones taken at 4 weeks had lower success and the ones at 5 weeks lower yet.

I don't know your cloning method but rooting time should be the same whether from Flowering plant or mother. Mine root in 6 to 10 days either way. If you go 14 days without roots odds are they are goners.
