Is this ok to start seeds in?

So I bought this medium for my seeds to start in. I'd like to know:
    1. If this is ok to start seeds off in or if should buy a soil.
    2. If it is ok, how long should I let it grow in that medium before transplanting.

It's called "Seed-Starting Mix" made by Whitney Farms. Ingredients: Sphagnum peat moss, perlite, vermiculite, and pumice. I also bought a bag of perlite. I'd be mixing some of that in there.

Before I try to germinate I'd at least like to get the first medium ready. I'm heading to the same place I bought it from later. I have to pick up a couple things there anyways, so if this mix is no good, I have the receipt and I'll return it. Thanks

    Oh yeah, attached pics:

Should be fine for seedlings, but because it consists of a good deal of peat, I'd think about having some hydrated lime on hand to raise the pH if it drops too low. Have a way to test your pH, and try to keep the SOIL pH between 6.5-6.8.

Thanks for the quick reply, I'll be off to the store once I finish typing. Yeah I bought one of those pH testers as well. Now that I know I can open the bag I'll test it out lol.

    Thanks again
