Inadvertantly raising masochists?
Here's something for all you parents to think about:
"Children who are spanked are more likely as adults to coerce their partners to have sex, to have unprotected sex and to have masochistic sex, according to new research by Murray Straus, sociology professor and co-director of the Family Research Laboratory at the University of New Hampshire."
Concord Monitor | March 7, 2008
My old man used to beat the shit out of me when I was a kid...
...does this explain my fascination with keeping my plants in bondage with LST?

This guy is an idiot. Child abuse is VERY wrong, but sex between consenting adults is different. Look at his picture, below. Would YOU listen to this man's advice on your bedroom behavior?........ masochistic sex isn't usually considered harmful, Straus said. Though there aren't adverse effects, Straus said he doesn't condone it.
"For me, gentle, loving sex is the thing," he said. "I think the world would be better if there were more people who liked gentle, loving sex than (people who) linked even play-violence to sex."
Regular sex is fine, but if a sex partner wanted me to spank her because it makes her hot to trot, you can be damn sure I'd do it.
P.S. MURRAY: In case you don't know, most people do NOT incorporate S&M stuff into their sex lives. What fucking planet do you come from?
Below: The author, Murray Straus, who wants everybody to be as lame as he is. Probably wears women's underwear and a skirt at home.

LMAO... point taken! I showed my wife that article, and to paraphrase her: "Whadda load of shit. I'd rather raise a son who eventually prefers rougher sex, than not physically discipline him and live the next 18 years of my life as a crazy person."
