When do you harvest Using trics?

I am about to harvest but am torn between now or wait!

Current conditions:
Strain: White Widow
Age: 8.5 weeks into flower.
Trics: 60/40 clear/cloudy no amber still producing new pistols.

I am wondering when you master growers harvest. My first grow I was pressed. This grow no presure so I can wait till the most ideal time this grow

its really your preference on the high you want.
i usually wait til there are atleast 10% amber

harvest when cloudy is a energetic,sativa, awake high
harvest when amber is a couch lock high, indica, lazy, sleepy

They look like they could go awhile yet. We can't see the trichs obviously but those pistils look all white from the picture.

I'm no 'Master', but I harvest Indicas at the first sign of amber, and Sativas at about 15-20%.
Some folks take it earlier for a more active, creative effect, and appetite stimulation.
Others wait longer for a more 'couchlock' body effect, and more pain relief...
I like the best of both worlds!

I don't care what strain it is....wait for 10% amber....I don't care if it takes until hell freezes over....:stoned:..wait 10%

Just out of curiousity. Around what week did your buds go from budlets to what you would say was an actual bud?

Just curious as I'm going through flowering for the first time. I know it's different for each plant/strain but there has to be some rough estimate.
