NEW way to gro? split the stem?!!

ok so i was talking to a buddy about growing and he told me that if you take a mother plant thats about 2-3 weeks into flower

Mother plants are usually kept in veg indefinitely to cut clones from...?

and split the stem with a butter knife

Why a butter knife? Why not something sharp so as not to mangle the plant?

and stick a tooth pick all the way thru it boost crystal production.

Does this REALLY sound like it makes ANY sense? :wtf:
