^The reason for this is probably the acetaminophen which is hepatoxic and should not be taken over dosages of 3000mg a day. (I wouldn't take 2000mg a day for more than 3 consecutive days)
For the sake of harm reduction if you're going to do more than six 5/5000mg pills or any amount in which the acetaminophen exceeds 3000mg you should do a cold water extraction.
Crush the pills in a glass, add ice cold water to cover the powder and then some. Stir and let sit, then drink the water and leave the insolubles (what has collected at the bottom of the glass) to throw away.

I do not feel like smoking salvia tonight and was curious if a 1000 mg's of vicodin would do anything? I know very little on substances other than cannabis, thanks for being able to tolerate me though : ). Rating: 5
