You know, I never would have thought, but Gorillaz - Demon Days is a VERY VERY VERY fun album to just chill and smoke to, it def has a slight trippy sound to it and the transitions are so awesome when baked
I was never into the Gorillaz much, but after a huge blunt session with a few buddies, I found this album to be amazing.
Give it a try, trust me!

My Music Appreciation teacher just told me about Porcupine Tree the other day and said they were amazing, but I had never heard of them before. Any album recommendations?

Props to you Ghosty, few others can honestly say they enjoy both Daft Punk and Sunn 0))). I'm not a huge Sunn 0))) fan, but I do like Boris and I love Sleep and Electric Wizard.
Check out:
Sleep - Dragonaut, Jerusalem, The Druid
Broken Social Scene - Anthems For a 17 Year Old Girl
The Alan Parsons Project - I, Robot
Electric Wizard - Funeralopolis, Wizard in Black
AIR - La Femme D'Argent, Kelly Watch the Stars, Universal Traveler, Somewhere Between Waking and Sleeping
Burial - Archangel
Aphex Twin - Fingerbib
Daft Punk - The Prime Time of Your Life / The Brainwasher / Alive, Encore (Alive 2007)
Genesis - The Carpet Crawlers 1999 (Turn it on Again)
Orbital - Halcyon + On + On
Radiohead - Everything in its Right Place, The National Anthem, Fitter Happier, Climbing up the Walls, Planet Telex, There There (The Boney King of Nowhere.), Pyramid Song
The Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar, Hoops
Justice - Genesis, D.A.N.C.E., Phantom
The Beach Boys - God Only Knows
The Flaming Lips - Fight Test, Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots Pt. 1, Race for the Prize (Peter Mokran Mix)
Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek (This might be my favorite)
Incubus - Aqueous Transmission
The Shins - New Slang, Sleeping Lessons
Steely Dan - Do It Again
They are definitely worth a listen in my opinion, but then again it's only my opinion.
