for your first time soil is much easier, reliable, harder to fuck up (though not impossible) and has the added benefit of being much cheaper to startup, this leaves money for things like lights and ventilation.
i harvested 2 and 1/2 oz off one plant in organic soil.
and if i understand you...you wanna use the water cooler for the dwc AND as the grow space?
i dont think it'll be big enough....

I decided that I am going to do a DWC Hydroponic grow as my first grow ever and am gonna due a one plant thing. Hopedully, I look to yield about over 2 ounces(That isn't too hard if you treat the bush properly right?). My idea is that I want to take a big orange athletic water cooler and tuurn it into a dwc. I could do this two ways. 1- Put water in bottom of jug, mcgyver a plastic top to fit in the middle of the Rating: 5
