:wtf:OK, When You get the Pump, & Play around with it. Main thing to look for is (1) the pump is strong enough!!~~(2) make sure,{ what size Basket's are You going to use??} Any way you might have to adjust the hieght of the riser's. Just make sure they are getting the Basket's good & Wet!!!

Ya the pump is the only thing I'm worried about. I don't wanna buy a pump and find out its not of high enough pressure (that would suck).

Ya I was looking at your pics, and I'm guessing your risers are like 2-3 inches from the top??

I might need to build a stool under the pvc or something. As for the pot size I wanna use the system for vegging and then later for flowering. So I realize I'm gonna have to have 2 lids, 1 lid with more holes and smaller pots, and another with fewer holes and larger pots. (Maybe 3 inch for vegging and 5 inches for flowering???)
What size pots are you using???

That's One Bad Ass AireeoooPlane, Your'a Jetting around in there Bro!!~~~~~~~~~~~~ I use 2" pot's all the way, From Clone to Finish. The Root's Just Grow out of the bottom like Crazy. I don't like messing with dirt or a bunch of Rock's. When it's done I just have the Root's & Plug for waste!:thumbsup:!!Nice:thumbsup:

Just keep Your reciept. They should exchange the pump if it's not big enough. & just get a bigger one.!!!

This is a really cool setup you have Hatch! If I ever decide to try an aeroponic system, this is exactly the kind I want to use. Thanks for posting all the info and pics

Alright I bought my nutes today, Flora Nova Grow & Bloom, I picked up some 3in pots with neoprene lids. Now I'm just waiting for it all start to roll on in.

Hey hatch what do you use to start your seedings? I'm thinking of rock wool or something that wont make the water dirty any suggestions???

I use Rapid Starter Plug's!!! I have never used rockwool. But I have seen My Share of people have problem's. you can get the Rapid Starter's with the Tray & Dome, Work's Great.

Did You get a pump???

Yep, I got a 1600 gph pump, and I think it will work fine. I also got my quad T5 fixture w/ 2 veg 2 bloom bulbs. I'm just waiting and hoping it all arrives in one piece.

I'm still trying to find a way of putting on a filter though. I bought some mesh filter inserts but their to big for the 1/2 in pipe. Is a filter really needed, and doesn't the pump have one? (mine is submersible)

Ya they have a mess bottom, Your best bet is to do it right of the pump. You'll need to get some adapter's & reducer's. Just put it in the line that goes to the mister's. Yes, You need in to keep tiny trash peices out of the line befofe the mister's or they will clog up.

I was thinking, OK Your stacking over the Res. . Make sure you have enough slack in the line to the mister's, to unstack, or Just think how You are going to disconnect to change the nut's & Res. water???

It all turned out better than I could have been planned. My pump came in and it ROCKS!!! Its nearly silent and pumps more than enough water pressure. I solved the filter problem, by buying a Mister Landscaper hose filter (with a few adapters) and it fits right on the pump. Cutting the holes in the plastic bins was the hardest part by far.

I am still waiting on my Gypsy Nirvana seeds, but they did ship'em so they (hopefully) should be here in a week or so. Other than that, my light comes tomorrow, so I can finally start getting it all set up.

Question for ya hatch, where does the water spray hit your net pots? I ask because, only about the bottom 1/2 of the pots are getting wet. Does the spray need to be hitting the neoprene??? If so I'm gonna have to find a way to raise the pvc.
