    First cab recirculating dwc grow

First of all hello to everyone; I'm finally ready to start my 2nd grow. For this time around I'm trying to go a little more stealth than just in an open closet because I live in an apartment. I have a pretty good sized cabinet; the first pic is the cab without any modifications. I replaced the back (that was just a piece of cardboard) with a piece of plywood, and removed the separator in the middle for 2x4 studs. (So I can have one open space) Iâ??m going to try a recirculating DWC system this time around (this is also my first hydro grow as well) following a tutorial I found on another site.

I have the DWC system set up and is seems to work fine so far; (not to have any plants in it yet) I already have a 400 watt hps light, but I wanted to get a bigger light because the grow area measures approx 5â??L X 4â??W X 2â??D. I was wondering if I could run a 600 or 1000 watt in a cool tube without running into to many heat problems?

I haven't ran any ventilation yet because Iâ??m not exactly sure what light I will be using, but I will be covering the walls with mylar before the end of the week.

Pic 2 is test run of DWC system
Pic 3 is a rough look of how system will look once fully up a running

Oh btw Iâ??m going to be growing White Widow and Papaya this time around also; so any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

you can actually go with a 1000 on 4x5 but with the height i would prob go with a 600.
i would paint the inside a flat white paint for reflectivity.

good luck on your second grow

Thanks texas grass; I think I will get the 600 watt in a cool tube, and if need be I'll add the 400 watt I already have to get to a 1000.(if heat is not to big of a problem) I still think I'm going to use mylar because I've already got some sprouts and don't really want to wait for the paint to dry. I was wondering though if you guys prefer inline fans or one of those blower type fans? If it doesn't matter the inline ones seem to be a little cheaper, but I wanted to know which do you guys prefer. Thanks in advance
