Mmm... shiitake's are delicious. I love adding them to miso soup in place of wakame, since wakame is so difficult to find where I live. But, for some reason, shiitake mushrooms are abundant at the Whole Foods grocer near my house. Come to think of it, that doesn't make a whole lot of sense...

I have experience with growing fungus so I dont think this can be a great deal harder, as with anything it just comes with its own new set of challenges.. Anyhow I just took some pics but it says at this time I cannot upload them I guess? or perhaps I will have to upload to another site but I'm just looking for some general advice and such..
