How much LOW GRADE weed should i use in hash brownies?

I've been using this guide so far, but it says use 5 grams of your finest ganja.

Well, I've got schwag. Dirt weed. $50 an Ounce.

How much should I use? I've heard that a half O of low quality stuff works, but that was one time from a not so reputable source.

Anyone else have any advice on this matter?

Edit: If you HAVE to use good weed, i can get some chronic, but 5 grams would run me up into the $70s, and I'm on a very low budget, so I'd like to avoid this if at all possible

hmmm on Friday i made brownie's i used 1/2 O... of cheap weed only paid 25bucks... the brownies did nothing to me but make me sleepy and a bit numb... but thats it u need to use good shit if not its not going to do shit....i eat like 6 brownies and all i got was sleepy use good weed!!!

Well... you can measure it by yourself... For example, lets say that 1 bowl of your finest weed is enough to get you high, with a definite level of highness. How many bowls of schwag would you need to smoke to achieve this same level of highness? It would be a good measure of how many times the good weed is more potent that the schwag. So, you just need multiply it by 5g, to get the amount of schwag required. :thumbsup:

Well... even with good weed, usually the brownie effects are more of a body high like this one you described... its very hard (if not impossible) to make some brownies which give only that sativa energetic high... if you put TOO much of some sativa in a brownie, you will get the sativa effects, but also a very strong body stone, even if the weed were 100% pure sativa and give only the energetic mind high when smoked.
So, the sleepiness is an almost inevitable side effect of weed brownies... the best way to "overcome" it (not actually overcome, but have the least possible loss) is use the purest sativa in the brownie... cause using indicas will only increase the sleepy effect, without increasing the mind high.
