Im having trouble discearning cloudy from clear its just hard to tell under a shakey handheld scope.
snip off a very, very small sample of trich covered bud leaf and put it on a white paper plate...

I have checked trichomes in the jars...weeks later after harvest and didn't notice any higher % of amber trichs. I usually go 10% amber, average over the whole plant and it's not unusual to still have some white pistils (hairs).

Bottomline: once you see any amber; your're getting very close to harvest...:smokin:
Dutch Pimp Reviewed by Dutch Pimp on . Trichomes Do the trics mature throughout the drying and curing process also? Or do they stop once you cut the plant down. And I know you shouldnt harvest based on pistle color but has anyone ever harvested while some of them are still white? Or do they all usualy turn brown/red before the trics go cloudy/amber?
