well actually we have discovered WMD's. You see its a common misconception that people generally think that a WMD is a nuclear bomb and in fact a WMD is a wide range of weapons. It just so happens that Suddam really did have chemical weapons...in which he used to exterminate many of the Shiit Muslims. Though I don't agree in the fact that we should have gone to war and that it was more than likely for oil and that it was ilicitly issued, the bottom line is I don't think the government flat out lied to us but rather used the excuse that because Suddam was a terrible person we should be justified in entering his country. However, you are right in saying in saying that Iraq was not a threat to us but once again it is not that the government flat out lied but rather skewed the truth which many slimy politicians do to get their way. The statement you just said sounded like a Ron Paul fanatic who thinks the government is planning an attack on the people in order to create a totalitarian government. Oh and also answer this.....Have these torture techniques and Patriot Act laws affected you in any negative way? Because I know they haven't for me or anyone else I've ever come across.

That is harsh but it is the reality that profiling will always happen everyday. its like seeing a person in a trenchcoat and automatically assume they have a gun and are dangerous when the person may just be cold.

WOW, just wow, I cannot believe that on a forum for MARIJUANA, (which just in case you forgot, the government wants you to believe it kills you, funds terrorism, and they will not hesitate to throw you in a jail cell for a longggg time just for having it) that you guys are actually defending the patriot act.
seriously, how old are you kids? 14? 15?
For the last thousand years, human beings have fought for, and sacrificed their own lives and happiness to increase peoples rights and freedoms. and now, after one tragic incidence, we are willing to give up our rights for a little bit of "safety"?
I could not find the article, but just a few years back, the DEA used the patriot act to use wire tappings (which would have been illegal but not anymore) to bust an underground tunnel which was used to smuggle drugs through- so YES, infact the government DOES abuse its powers to bust other people besides terrorists.
if you think this lame excuse of a bill called the "patriot act" is actually in place to "fight the evil terrorists!!!" - you are sadly mistaken
