Guerilla Grow Site Safe?

Well I just moved into a new place yesterday, and I've already spotted a spot where I could grow some bud. The only problem is that it isn't on my property, it's on my neighbor's roof! I live in a house in a housing community and the house next door has a perfectly flat roof, with the edges of the roof raising up about two foot all around to block vision from any higher windows. There is also no way for the neighbors to see it either, and since they are older folks they really aren't to capable of going up there. The only thing I'm worried about really is helicopters. I live in Orange County, CA, and the particular city I live in is very highly policed. I also live right next to the station where two helicopters are constantly landing and bailing. Do you think these choppers are a problem? Can they identify things like bud from the sky? I've heard (word of mouth is sketchy) that bud gives of a very certain heat signature that is very recognizable, and I imagine that these helicopters have infared. Any help would be appreciated. IMO you would have to have alot af balls to grow weed on your NEIGHBOURS ROOF with a POLICE STATION across the street with HELICOPTERS ciming in and out all the time. no way i would think of doing it and i think you maybe really wanted someone to say you will be fine no one will catch you but i think you might already know it is a very gutsy thing to do and a good chance of them getting found, and im not to sure about smell as i haven't grown outside yet but that could be another factor or if the old folks hire someone to clean the gutters or reshingle their roof or a powerline needs fixing and the repair man sees it i wouldnt want some old people getting in big trouble. just some of the things i would consider but i am a very paranoid person but if you decide to do it than good luck:thumbsup: and also maybe half the stuff i said doesnt apply to you as i dont know what a 'housing community' is

thanks for pointing those things out to me man. i'm not to worried about reshingling, because it doesn't have shingles, but maybe something willl happen where it needs repair. smell isn't really a problem as i plan on growing a strain that isn't too pungent, plus i'm not going to make the plants huge, just a little bit of nug on them. enough to roll a couple blunts. the powerline scenario could be a problem though. thanks for pointing that out. i'm gonna go check to see if there are any powerlines in view.

sometimes the most obvious spot can be the most inconspicous spot because people arent expecting to see something like that there but at the same time those choppers would definatly be an issue IMO the spot your describing sounds mad heatscore but if ur willin 2 risk it smell is prolly a factor my plants made my whole back yard reek like chronic buds i wouldnt risk it but its ur call only u can make it just dont make a stupid one without some kinda plan for the potential consiquences

i agree with legalize it about the most conspicuous being actually inconspicuous. i'm not sure what you meant by heatscore though. like there will be too much heat? if you could clarify that for me that would be nice.

the only thing that kinda scared me really was the infared scans from the helicopters, and thanks to melodious fellow i now am definitely scared of them haha.

heatscore means it draws attention of authorities baitout dumb shit that ends with u breakin out in a bad case of handcuffs lol last year everytime the chopper flew over my house or near it my heart sank it wasnt cool u never know what they are lookin at up there and 1/2 the time id hear a chopper n stress out n it would be the hospital chopper or the gasline chopper 1 time we were smokin a session in my back yard n i heard the chopper off in the distance n i was just like buddy put the bong under the table quicktimes n he looked at me like i was crazy lol and it wasnt even the cop chopper it was the orange hospital one it makes u much much to paranoid havin ur plants where they might posibly be seen by the chopper it wont b that bad on u at first but eventually the paranoia will get to u no matter how solid your nerves are it will shake u

but on a different note, i just noticed today that the spot has a period of time where it is shaded and doesn't receive direct light, so i'm starting to have second thoughts about the spot. from about noon to two-ish it is shaded. do you guys think that those two hours are a big deal?
