Rest in Peace Hunter Thompson
Truly sad the Doc took his own life, I felt a genuine emptiness when I heard the news. In my eyes he was a great man that lived life to the fullest without any regrets, and without fear of the consequenses of his own actions. He was a free spirit untamable by anyone not even himself, driven by the whims of the great magnet. I truly hope there is a place reserved for such wonderful spirits that bring life to such a dark and ugly world such as this one, where we're plagued with such hatred and anger, We need more people that can make us laugh and put a smile on our face every once in awhile. May he rest in peace. My heart goes out to his family as well.
For those of you who own "The Criterion Collection" there is a documentary video where he talks about his own death many times and discribes his funeral wishes in detail, very sad and very erie.
