should i hold back on the watering as i think they are nearly ready?

The drier the plant is before harvest; the dry/cure goes easier/faster. IMO.

i'll keep posting everyday till they turn amber 10% - 30%

looks to me that the 2nd shot looks like the trichs are about to change

but what do i know!
