I just found this site so I am really excited to hear the opinions of some people who like bud and hopefully some of you who share my love for rap music.
Im about to be 21. Im a white boy from Texas who listens to rap. Needless to say I get called a wigger all the time because I dont get down to country music(although being from Texas I must admit that I do like a few country songs) I always loved rap from the moment I heard Ghetto Cowboy by Bone when I was like...10 I guess lol. So having been such a big fan for over half my life, I thought drop some knowledge lol. I am not trying to offend anyone or anything. These are just my opinions of some stuff.

I would really like to know whats up with people getting so irritated when others dont share their opinions. I see this quite often when people talk about rap. I guess it can happen with any topic but Im just touching on rap cuz its what I love and have opinions on. I saw a post on this site today and all these people were arguing over whether lil wayne is sick or not. Personally, I think the dude is off the damn chain man. The thing I like about him is what everyone says...The metaphores right?...well yeah that is what he sells on no doubt but he does drop a lil knowledge on people and its pretty real. Gossip, one of his new joints speaks some real things on people talking shit...
One of his early tracks, Everything, from the lights out joint...once again spits some real fire this time is on the feelings of missing someone...and never forgetting them. I could go on for a whole minute about his knowledge...but again thats just my opinion...you dont have to agree with me...but I think one of the biggest probs hip hop is facing is the fact beefs are being idolized as a means of making some money. The problem is that the listeners take to heart what goes on in this rap game. So many times we hate on people cuz they like a rapper that your rapper is beefin with. If you like 50, you hate the game and everyone who gets down to him....if you like biggie...then all of pac's "soldiers" come at you. I like 50 just like I like game. My highschool years were spent bumpin both biggie and tupac. Point is just cuz you dont agree with someone, doesn't mean you cant respect eachothers opinion. Just dont try to make others feel ignorant cuz they bump weezy or pac or whoever. People say this games f'd up...but it all goes back to the fact that we have lost respect for it and eachother
