I'm not an old fart yet (I'm still working on that), but I do own an old magnetic HPS400. I've seen a Phillips CMH, but I never really looked that deep into it... plus, I don't think it was a bulb that could burn in a universal position. Actually, I think it was supposed to be vertical.

Anyway, have you had good results using these bulbs? And if so, what manufacturer did you go with? I'd love to hear feedback on it, because they seem ridiculously expensive, but I have to admit that I'm intrigued by the idea.

I was wondering if some of you HID growers could gimme a little feedback. I have some numbers sitting in front of me covering LED lights and T5 fluoro ect. I just need to know what you guys know to be the best HPS flowering/MH veg bulbs. Also if you know of a link where they have the spectrum analysis of the bulb/s that would be very helpful.
