you need to dry it out for about 7-10 days (untill the stem snaps cleanly)
than cure it for how long you want too
that plant looks realy good for a first grow well done

Hang, dry them and bag them to cure for weeks.

Grow looks pretty good for using CFL's fat little nugs which isn't easy to do.

Nice grow, they are pretty good lookin nugs. I would dry them somewhere dark though with good airflow.

thanks everyone for the comments and input.
i cant wait to grow again. it was amazingly ratifying to actually get to sit down and harvest the damn plant.

can anyone tell me what exactly light does to the buds if exposed to it while drying?

Prolonged exposure to direct UV light degrades THC, but brief indirect light isn't going to do much (if any) harm. Also, don't keep a fan blowing directly on the buds, it'll make them dry unevenly. Good job, enjoy!

    Really nice grow Roust!

Was it bagseed or something special?

Did you have a grow log? this is a good inspiration for beginner CFL growers

had like five seeds of "god's gift" ,what ever that means, from a shop. i dont have a grow log unfortunately but its been about 4 months from seed to harest, and only one plant made it through. if u got questions ill try my best to answer them but im very noob at this so i dont relay know how much help i can be.

ok guys well my stuff is drying and all but im afraid its too dry now. i dont know if this is possible or not but its only been a week maybe even less and the nugs feel like dry tender. they dont feel like anything i have smoked before much much crispier and dryer.

they aren't in any crazy hot environment, just hanging in my room. so why do they feel soo crispy or am i just being paranoid....on a happier note they have become almost totally orange during drying.

did i just fuck up my whole harvest?

nah bro, there may possibly be such thing as "too dry weed" but I doubt you managed that just by hang drying buds in a closet.

Home grown might look a little different (especially if one is a beginner and does not know about manicuring buds" but that homegrown is also going to be a wicked smoke bro, prolly better than what ya been buying, yeah?

    peace
