    Watering Plants with Vitamin Water

I was really high one night thinkin about my plants and i was drinking some vitamin water and thought it would be a good idea to maybe use vitaminwater everyother day to a certain plant(s) to give them certain extra nutrients or possibly a flavor like dragonfruit/grape to give the plant strength. would that work?:smokin:

Ummm, no. Mind you, it won't hurt them either. Just a waste IMO

It might hurt them actually. Citric acid? Thiamine? Noooo... not good for the soil chemistry or the plant's hormone balance, respectively.

This is, if you will forgive my saying so, a completely ridiculous idea.

Unless they make a vitamin water designed to suit the nutritional needs of the members of the Kingdom Plantae... Oh wait... it's called FERTILIZER...

lol, stinky, that wasa really funny comment

well, i wouldn't recommend it anyway because those electrolytes are most likely sodium/potassium
with coloring, flavoring, amino acids that plants' physiology doesn't recognize (like chelated and what nots),
    excess sugar
im not even sure if the chemicals would be absorbed if they would be at all because of the form they're in (like calcium can be like for ex. calcium carbonate, or calcium gluconate)
it would just sit in your soil and create nutrient lockouts or reactions

that's cool you want to try it out but i think you'd get way better results with professionally
created nutrient packages, that way the nutrients are created specifically for best
bio availability and the plant will definitely benefit more from them compared to any energy drink

i just thought of it, if i tried drinking fertilizer im sure it'd make me die instead of make me
run 60miles/hour at 100% incline, you know what i mean? like the only common benefit between
plants and humans from energy drinks is the water

But, Stinky, it's got what plants crave: Electrolytes.

I run several closed dwc systems that use the fiddy cent grape vitamin water. So far(2-3 months).. the plants haven't really done anything, but I'm expecting a huge surge in growth once they really become saturated with the electrolytes.

Though, I am thinking that the grape might just be too thug for my plants.
