superchip is right. On top of that, if you follow my method, you will have a much cleaner hit that will get you higher. With waterfall bongs, you can milk the hit because you can control the flow of water coming out of the bong with your finger. You can get all the smoke out of a bowl, stop and reload if you even need to, and you can get the most concentrated smoke as well.

And you're stuck with a bucket (or something that holds water) anyways for gravity bong hits, so you might as well use a waterfall bong and not have to reuse the same nasty water. New fresh tap water can get put in each time. And if you did replace the water for the gravity bong each time, well in that case it would actually be the waterfall bong that would be quicker to use.

I think sometime soon I'll make a DIY thread on a waterfall bong my way.
you can control the amoun in a gravity bong to, just pull it slower or faster, essentially if done right they should come out the same, because its using the same physics to make the vacuum, but replacing the water wont make a difference unless your filtering the smoke through the water.
