    higher humidity during flower?

hey, keeping them around 30% should help with trichome production. i dont know if id go any lower than say 25% because they need some moisture in the air. using a humidifier on low seems like a perfect way to raise it up to those levels. good luck with those mommas

    higher humidity during flower?

First off, I grow in soil, and use 400w HPS's for flower.
I live in, the high desert, where Mother Nature long ago determined "thou shalt not grow cannabis in the southwestern deserts".
Humidity is notoriously low here. (up into the teens) Even with an a/c, during the summer months my outdoor growroom temps can top 90ish. (120's outside)
Hydration is the key, I believe...not humidity. Daily waterings (necessary in this climate) provide enough ambient humidity, without needing a humidifier. Higher temps with higher humidity is a great way to promote mold, and I have purposefully kept my humidity down.
Occational (infrequent) spraying of lower sections on the plant (away from the heat my HID's put out) help keep the plant hydrated, but only if need be, and not habitually oversprayed. Raising lights on hottest days is a great way to avoid burning tops. Half-strength nutes, given twice as often works to lower the stress, too.
I've been doing this for years, and am consistently satisfied with my results. Depending on your growing techniques and supplies, the plants may take an extra week or two to finish, but if you keep a close eye on them, they should be fine.
