uuh. you havent seen it, and narrowed it down to: CATAPILLAR, MITES, and VINE WEEBIL (wtf is that?)?

dude, catapillar and mites are totally opposite ends of the spectrum. and a weevil.....what now?

post some pictures and maybe we can help. if its makeing noticable holes, the creature itself must be visible if you take a good look at and around your plants.

    3. Vine weevil: are 8-12 mm long, have a grooved, dull black shell with patches of tiny yellow bristles. They will do their damage at night (when the lamps are off) by eating the leaves from the outside to the center. The larvae are 1cm thick and have a creamy white color with a shiny brown head. They live in the oil, and damage the roots. The absorbing of nutrients will come in danger, and as a result the plant wilts and dies off. Natural predator: NEMATODES

Are you using any type of sticky trap in your grow room? Or a cat?
Caterpillars are rare indoors. I've never yet heard of an indoor grow plagued by weevils, either.

Yes, but no later than that because of the foul smell. After that, try SMC leaf wash (coriander) or pyrethrin. Pyrethrin that is labelled for fruit and vegetable use may be used quite close to harvest.
Interrupting the thrips' life cycle by preventing the larvae dropping off the plant onto the soil surface to pupate will effectively keep their population at a level where damage is minimized and avoid having to use harsh pesticides while this crop finishes. After that, you will want to thoroughly bomb your growroom TWICE (3-4 days apart) to kill any stragglers.
To keep them off the soil, a plain paper plate with a slit cut to the center, slid over the main stem of each plant, is effective. You may even smear some 'tanglefoot' on it!

Have you been able to visibly identify thrips on your plants? If you have, the yellow sticky traps work great to prevent re-infestation after you follow Stinky's advice. Hang them plant level and the thrips can't get enough.

I have had plants that would develop small holes in the leaves, both in vegetative and flowering, with no evident, external cause. There were no pests, no foliar applications. There would only be a few per plant and they never enlarged or seemed to cause any stress.

yep, i currently have that exact pattern of holes likes gainesville's on a couple of my girls right now. now i remember thinking a couple weeks ago about it, but i've seen it before on a couple plants and never thought anything about it because it was just a couple leaves. i say don't worry about it unless it gets worse
