Yeah, I'm guessing you misunderstood that too. If a sample is going out that day, they don't necessarily have to refrigerate it so if it is indeed labeled this way I would say that means the samples stored at room temperature bin and not received at room temperature. Plus you would never know from looking at the bin. If you give a sample that isn't room temperature they have to mark it on the form, collect a second sample from you under observation within 3 hours without you leaving the collection center, and send in both samples.
