    Putting premature plants into flowering

I know all there are concequences over putting premature plants into 12/12

i put 2 plants that were 2 weeks old ... with poor lighting..into great lighting 12/12

... they're done really well since then and they're starting to show signs of both being female! woo!

    smaller plants.. yes..
but if i leave it in 12/12 for 8 more weeks.. the plant might just be one big cola..

    opinions?

p.s. i also attached recent pics of the big girl 3 weeks in and as you can see. it's getting a bit corwded

To put a plant in 12/12 that early is a waste of the plant.Traditionally you should wait until the plant was started alternating branches. If you top and pinch early youll never have clearly alternating branches, so a well established plant with enough veg growth to build on is necassary.Yes, a plant 4-6 wks old will double and even more than triple its size during flowering. All this is wasted if the plant hasnt developed a optimum of plant mass to establish a maximum of bud sites, before flowering.-usdi Agaluga

Nirvana AK 48, 12" tall (in hydro) turn to flower cycle and a lot of them got to be 6' tall and more, 3 to 4 cured ounces on some of them.
