swiss miss seed grow log( sexing/lighting help)

hey,im going to start a new grow log i guess, lots of pictures to come, i have 20 little ones going as of now, they were started on the first of feb.got my seeds from Cannabis Seeds (Marijuana Seeds) Supplier - Top quality Dutch Seeds (swiss miss)they were on 18/6 lighting from about the third day in soil,after 2 weeks they were growing great and around 4-5 inches tall with nice leaves and the branches just starting to appear,than i switched my lighting to 24/0 for the next 2 weeks, they are now about 8-10 inches tall with about 5-8 sets of branches(about a half inch ), i just tied all of them down to get the branches to grow upright and to have short/bushy plants.. (planning on doing a scrog)i was wondering if it would hurt to switch my lighting from 24/0 for just a few days to 12/12 to get them to sex and than switch back to around 18/6 for another few weeks of vegg. my current lighting is 2 sets of flouresent dimond plated fixtures with 2 -4ft bulbs in each fixture, a total of 4-4ft tubes(bulbs), i have 2 "daylight" bulbs and 2 "coolwhite" bulbs, one bulb of each per fixture. i also have the lights about 2-3 inches from the plants and it seems to be working pretty good, i have a 1000w hps for my flowering stage.any input on the lighting switch would be great. p.s. i pinched the tops and tied them down today, and used my first dose of nutes as well today, so they might slow down for a few days but i doughted as they are looking so good, but i want to get them sexed , any thoughts?????? pics will be comming soo i hope , broken camra

also i just wanted to add, they were started from seed, my temp in my room is around 30 drgrees celcus when the lights are on and the humitidy is only around 37-45%. when the lights are of the temp is down to around 20 degrees celcus and the humitidy seems to stay the same any thoughts on that as well would be great..
